Boxing is Fun- A tip to beat the blues

Who say's working out must be tiring and boring??? My way of having fun is through, Boxing my way out on stress. It's simply enjoyable and energizing, once your body gets in tuned with all the jab and punches that you can throw.

I just started again to enroll at Energy Revive beside Pure Gold, San Pablo City and I can feel my old self regaining my health and positivism in life. It is one of my medications to beat the blues away. I box 3- 4 times a week and I spent 3 hours a day at the gym-- I make sure all will be worth it.

I love doing their program because I really sweat and I can take many rounds on heavy bags, enbowl, mitts and other boxing equipments. Instructors are very nice and supportive-- because of it I am finally throwing good punches and jabs. I really recommend boxing because all of your lower and upper body parts are working. Stamina is very vital and I can feel myself having more every time I go out for another session.

Here are some tips to take the blues away just as I found boxing, writing, drinking coffee and hanging out with friends my way to stay a tuned with myself.

10 TIPS TO BEAT THE BLUES AWAY!
1. Having a good cry- It is therapeutic to vent emotions by giving way to grief and accepting comfort from others.
2. Be good to yourself- Know your limits and happiness by practicing and knowing it everyday makes one blues away.

Self Control is my part of Gambling for Fun

I had my own share of experiences where I found gambling a new way to have some fun and excitement. It is not everyday that I play this kind of game but my heart pounds with excitement while playing different kinds of gambling game.

I can be usually seen playing gambling at the PAGCOR Tagaytay, Resorts World Casino or at the St. Joseph Compound. I have a set of friends where we find gambling for fun and sometimes a source of income to have our wallets supplied with money.

There are few games that I play: Baccarat, Pontoon, Sic-Bo, Casino Wars, Tong- its and In- Between. I find Pontoon and Baccarat the most enjoyable of all. Luck, patterns and cleverness while playing this kind of games is the most vital essentials. You must never underestimate or over estimate the cards for chances are you can end up loosing a lot of money.

Most of the time I gamble, I only call it quits. I seldom loose a lot of money but I have an experience where I loose an amount as much as Php 10,000 (I'm just a small player at gambling) . It was a bad experience and as I recall it was the end of the habit of betting large amounts. I now only play Php1,000- 2,000 and don't go any further with that amount for self control is taking over me.

WARNING: Gambling can be addicting

Self Control is the thing that one can learn from gambling. One must know when to stop so you won't loose to much in playing. In my own terms of self control in gambling, I do have one but in other things relating to self control I find myself loosing myself. I don't have much of it in my system.... It is a habit that I want to learn more. It is something one must practice in areas where you find yourself tempted.

As I understand my self control, I sometimes seek where I lack and where I excel. My self control often arise when I feel too much excitement and too much tiredness. It is an extreme of everything. It is something one must practice and balance. It is either you eliminate that kind of habit you can't control or you practice yourself with it.

One must know what kind of self- control they have in different situations. Experience and events can teach a lot of things to know what kind of control you have. Always believe that you have one and you can manage yourself in every situation because part of self- control is loosing fun and having fun. Just remember that self control is not just by not loosing yourself it is sometimes define as knowing your self more of how in control you can be in every situation.

As I believe, Always have fun because part of living is loosing your self but having control over it.

A Mind for Excellence

As I watch and stare at my computer, memories of what happened before came through me. I am indeed living in a world where not much is expressed and felt. For years, my depression struck me so hard that I no longer know how to live on. I tried many simple things and ways to make me whole, but at some point, I had failed over and over again.

I lost myself so many times, that I no longer know what I am living for. I had lost interest in life and in many things that one would enjoy, before everything happened. My relation ties with friends, families and relatives whither. It is something, I wouldn't wish to anyone. I started gaining weight and as time pass by, my attention span is no longer like before. I no longer see myself doing so many things.

My blog entry is all about transforming myself and letting go to the higher power within me.

First, I want to share the books I read which transformed me at peace- Living the Truth and The Four Agreements. These are my self help books that changed my perception after some time. It gave me a grasp of my own reality to live on again and to who I really am all these years.

Secondly, my old habit of drinking too much died when I got my depression. It was the rule that I have to avoid that is why coffee (my ally) had been one of the most addicting things I enjoy. Besides coffee, I'm now developing a new habit, and I called  it excellence. As I see it, Excellence must be a passion- a key to the ultimate things that you want to sustain and achieve. A key to the higher person inside of ourselves, A key to the natural things that one can master, and it is the striving force to be the best that we can be.

Lastly, I want to share some points of The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz.

The Four Agreements:
                                        ·         Be Impeccable with your word
                                        ·         Don’t take anything personally
                                        ·         Don’t make assumptions
                                        ·         Always do your best

I had been striving all this time for the new insights and experience that I am encountering everyday. I am living my life with each blessing and it is an eye opener experience, one could get. For me, living one step at a time and reaching your dreams to the farthest possible you can imagine, makes me closer to where I want to be and where I would be.

My Coffee History

There are many ways to have that space and time that you needed. Often, we don't have them everyday because of the many things that goes in our heads. Sometimes it turns out to be a simple laugh or cry that would dry all your tears or stress away. I have been in down turn and return over the past years but it was the most memorable time of my life. It was the space and time I needed to find myself all over again and coffee have been my ally and friend.

My coffee history is no different from others but what made it special is the way I use to drink it and the way I share my time with people. Coffee as it is have been an ally for me every morning. It refresh my senses and it helps me to be energized and awake all day. I usually love to drink it alone but given a chance that a friend would invite me for a cup of coffee, my heart pounds with excitement for I love how I connect with people with one of my favorite drinks.

Connecting my coffee experience with my life is the reason why I wanted to share my coffee history. Coffee, as I take it every morning would be usually black. I love it to be bitter (sometimes sweet) and a little bit hot--- I want it plain and straight. I want to surprise myself sometimes on how hot it could be that it burns my tongue that I almost forget what time it is--- I often forget the world and start to have my own time and space. Coffee and life for me is to be simple, plain and as it boils down to the core it shows its true color and taste.

THATS HOW LIFE IS TO ME!
